If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance that you’re more than familiar with the fact that running in the heat is one of the biggest challenges that comes with being a runner.
Our company is based in the South (Atlanta, Georgia to be specific), and every spring and summer, temperatures skyrocket. For those of us who love outdoor running, it can be hard to be motivated to hit the scorching ground running and even harder to perform your best.
Between the months of April and September every year, people can be seen in races across the country doing anything they can to regulate their temperatures. It gets hot! People pour cups of water and ice on their heads at aid stations and try to rig all kinds of “solutions” to this huge problem.
If there are two things we’ve learned here at ICED, they are as follows.
- Runners may train alone sometimes, but they have a tendency to form communities both large and small.
- The ICED Cap really, scientifically, works.
Are you a…
- running blogger?
- marathon/triathlon coach?
Do you know any of these people?
If so, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to show the world what a difference the ICED Cap can make in both your comfort level and your running time.
As a dedicated runner, you know that even a few seconds matter for your race time. What would you say if we said that on a hot day, the ICED Cap can shave minutes off of your time?
Give it a try. You’ll be glad you did.
Sure, we may be a little biased, but as a part of the Atlantan and even the American running community, we want to do everything we can to help runners feel and accomplish their absolute best.
